Call your local emergency number (911 in the U.S.). For emotional crisis support in the U.S., call or text 988 (the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: 988lifeline.org).
Deadlines are real
Agencies and courts set their own deadlines. They differ by agency and by the kind of claim, and some are short. Using Report 2 HR, or reporting to HR, does not stop or extend them. Check the agency’s own site or ask an employment attorney soon.
These links open the agencies’ own websites, outside Report 2 HR, only when you press one. We chose them because they are the official agencies; we don’t control their pages, and addresses can change. Report 2 HR is not affiliated with any of them.
Discrimination, harassment and retaliation
California Civil Rights Department — State agency for employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation in California
U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) — How to file a charge of employment discrimination
Wages, overtime and breaks
California Labor Commissioner (DLSE) — How to file a wage claim in California
Workplace safety
Cal/OSHA — File a workplace safety complaint in California
Workers organizing and working together
National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) — Rights to act together at work and how charges are investigated
Your state labor department, legal aid office, union representative or an employment lawyer may also help. Report 2 HR does not give legal advice and does not file anything for you.
