Does Report 2 HR send my report to my employer?
No. Nothing is sent automatically. You choose what to do with your report — usually saving or printing the PDF and giving it to HR yourself. Online sending (“Send to HR online”) only happens after you review and authorize it, and it is not enabled in published versions yet.
What does HR receive if I send online?
One email from reports@notify.report2hr.com containing your report, with the same report attached as a PDF. Before sending you see exactly that email. HR does not need an account or a password to read it. Evidence files are not sent — the report lists them, and you can give them to HR yourself. If you send with your name and contact details, HR can reply to you directly; replies to the Report 2 HR email are not read.
Is it anonymous?
You can leave your name out of any report, and Report 2 HR has no account or tracking. But no tool can guarantee anonymity: the details of what happened, the people involved or the files you attach may make you identifiable to someone who knows the situation.
Where is my information stored?
On your device only. On Android it is encrypted with a key held in the phone’s secure keystore. In a browser it is encrypted with a passphrase you choose — or not stored at all until you create one.
What if I forget my browser passphrase?
It cannot be recovered; there is no copy anywhere. You can delete the locked data and start again from the unlock screen.
Does Report 2 HR decide whether the law was broken?
No. It helps you record facts clearly. Break, overtime and pay figures are arithmetic from the times you enter. Whether rules apply depends on where you work, your job and other factors — an employment lawyer, union representative or government agency can advise you.
What should I attach as evidence?
Things you are allowed to keep: your own photos, screenshots of messages sent to you, your schedules and pay stubs. Report 2 HR does not record audio. Check files for location data and other people’s information before sharing.
Can I record several incidents in one report?
Yes. Record each incident separately in your journal — even weeks or months apart — then add any of them to one report. They appear in date order with a timeline.
